The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China reviewed and adopted the Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Deepening Comprehensive Reforms and Advancing Chinese Modernization (hereinafter referred to as the Decision). In the section of the Decision on “Building Institutional Mechanisms to Support Comprehensive Innovation”, it explicitly calls for “deepening reforms in the science and technology system to promote the in-depth integration of innovation, industrial, capital, and talent chains”.
In active response to this directive, we are committed to accelerating the development of a trinity system that integrates medical-educational collaboration, clinical translation, and industrial innovation, aiming to foster a synergistic innovation ecosystem among universities, hospitals, and enterprises. Building on this foundation, we will focus on advancing the research, development, and commercialization of digital healthcare technologies, while strengthening international collaboration in the medical field through the Belt and Road Initiative. To this end, the China Association of Medical Equipment and Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences will jointly host the "2025 Intelligent Digital Healthcare Conference: Industry-Education Integration and Sci-Tech Achievements."
